This is wrong! The guy says to record gain on disposal in second example to P&L (for FVTOCI), the newer version of this video the lecturer says to record in the OCI – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DUEcJuGD2UY
what is the difference between transaction costs and broker fees?
Why aren't prior period gains on FVTOCI (in this example $80K) dealt with on the Income Statement, whilst any gains between book value and sale value in current period ($30K) are processed through IS?
