With a background in Electrical engineering and interest in construction, Is a career in Augmented Reality within construction a viable option today is the industry not there yet to need engineers in this?

Hello Kienen, I hope you are doing well. I am a recent fresher for Masters in Construction Management Technology. Could you please make a video on which iPad should construction graduates buy for Drawings and editing them?

Nice vid. Greetings from Bolivia, I want to ask something. How the concrete reinforced is paid in the US? Is concrete pouring, formwork, etc all separately or all is take it in one activity . Also how about the rebar? It is paid separately from concrete? Because you know, in seismic zone there is much rebar in the elements.

Hey Kienen, I'm a junior civil engineering major at Loyola Marymount University and I'm really interested in construction engineering. I'm also born and raised in Hawaii and currently doing online school back home on Oahu. I love the youtube videos and would love to shadow you or just observe so I can gain real life work experience as an engineer. Please let me know if something like this is possible. Feel free to reach out to my instagram, @noahkinder.

AR in construction makes so much sense! I know some customers pay big money for actual size models to be built in warehouses to make sure they like everything. That would really ease some concerns!

Pretty interesting to see some parallels to the automotive industry. It’s easier to justify automation on the assembly line with cars because you’re building the same thing over and over again, whereas buildings can be more one-off. Maybe automation will be more applicable in projects with repetition, like a subdivision?

Those hard hats need to go on sale ! 😂 and if any industry could use technology it would be construction, a lot of my equipment is from the early 2000’s!

The controversial topic of robots would be an interesting discussion point in a classroom. The visualization of the projects is really cool! Do you happen to know of any "easier" or less industry-specific ways that perhaps students could visualize their building ideas?
