Truly said about Service Cost, even for my i20 ACTIVE SX PETROL, the dealer in Palakkad, Kerala said the same 7500rs . I had to take the car to do the service at Outside, I could do the service at 3000rs including Cleaning engine and Outside. Same basic service with 5w30 engine oil

@motoroctane – I’ve driven 63000 kms, May 2019 WagonR (same model as in video). 1 tip to the users, go to Maruti authorised service centre rather than dealerships, their cost is much less. I also feel ₹2000 labour charge (excluding consumables) for regular service of WagonR is pretty high. Average cost of each paid service has been ₹4700- ₹5300, including alignment and balancing, in Noida.
I own a wagon r of 2021single airbag for almost 4months now and I've driven it almost 6k …. And recently I serviced my car for the second time which cost me around 1.5k …nothing changed just they swapped the tyres from front to back…. I stopped using my Jupiter for daily commute cuz of its low Mileage…. Wagon R gives almost the double mileage in the same price and I also go around in the city in ac….. The only thing annoys me that my front door never closes properly…. It has to be slammed hard…if don't they won't close properly…they always stuck half closed ..I told that to the service centre when I went for my 2nd servicing…those dumb people gave me the reason of air… Like when windows r closed it has air inside the car so it won't close properly…. I mean this is the stupidest reason I've ever heard in my life….

Everything else about the car is good…. It's just that build quality and that door thing bothers me alot…
U can complaint to consumer court about this variation in service charges. But nobody know the law of this country

I have petrol version of 2019. 3rd free service cost was 1200 {oil} and 1st paid service(end of 2nd year) is 3000 at Maruti service center only. This is my 2nd maruti car and I have been servicing for last 14 years at Maruti only and never I had faced over charge issue my 2nd car was 15 year old well maintained. Never service outside it will reduce car life and reliability. Change your services center but prefer only Maruti. Also you must understand what your car needs at the time of service, look at your car manual which shows things to be done at service interval. Also car needs services at every 10k kms, if your running is higher 17k which mean service is Don keeping those milage in mind so that could also be the reason for high service cost. Next year when you are near 50k, you may need 2 set of new Tyre as well. So check what car needs and what is the cost of each job u request. FYI since your car is CNG it will be little expensive due to higher service charge as well as extra CNG maintenance. By the time you clock 70 to 80k, be ready for engine overhaul which will cost you above 40k due to CNG.

mere pas ciaz hai petrol. uska bhi general service with oli replacement and all 5k around ho jata hai . i don't believe k normal service wagonR ki itne ki hoti hogi 😅

We have Wagon R 2008 model LXi. Few things I would like to mention here for your help-
1 Boot space and passanger space is very good(5 people can easily accommodate with comfort).
2 Good performance in city as well as on highways.(on Highways I have pass through cars like- Swift,bolero, most of Tata cars and even innova.
3 As opposite to popular belief it doesn't wobble/shake too much on high speed.
4 On the opposite side safety is compromised here as in old model there is no air bags and even in most of new model there are only 2 airbags available.
5 Off-roading is not an option here and on muddy/slippery roads performance is not good.
So if you want a car for city as well as outstation ride with family of 5 this is a better option in budget section..
