Konza is a planned new technology city designed to capitalise on Kenya’s fast growing economy and booming technology sectors. The Government launched the vision for Konza in 2011 as a great place to live, work and do business. It is expected to become home to some of Africa’s most desirable real estate.
During my work placement with Urban Graphics, I was made responsible for the 3D Illustration of Konza City. The brief stated a video including computer generated images and fly-bys of the entire city, with an exclusive interview from Kenyan High Commissioner: Ephraim Ngare. The aim of the video is to address “where KONZA goes from here” and an encouragement for the targeted audience to get involved.
