-This equipment utilizes Synchronous and Non-Sychronous transfer systems to assemble Piston Con-Rod Sub Assembly and deliver the finished part to the Engine Assembly line at a rate of 7 seconds per part.
-Each sub-assembly is comprised of 8 part components; 1 Piston, 1 Wrist Pin, 1 Con-Rod, 2 Snap Rings, & 3 Piston Rings.
-Component part type and proper assembly are verified throughout the process to assure quality and traceability through use of machine vision, gauging and poke-yoke techniques.
-The Con-Rod Cap and bolts are removed in preparation for pallet conveyance to the Engine Assembly line for installation to the Engine Block. .
